Thread: Princess Bedroom Slippers - Do you like them?

Do you like the Princess Bedroom Slippers you're given on cruises?

I just finished washing a load of of 5 pairs which were used while daughters/grands were here. They are useful to have around for company who forgets to bring theirs.

Mine are always used. My DH never wears his ... probably wouldn't fit him anyway ... so I always have an extra unused pair to bring home .

They were ok to use a little on the ship. But at home, no. Too flippy floppy for me.

We never wear the slippers that HAL provides in the Penthouse and Deluxe Verandah Suites.

They have absolutely no padding in them.

HAL has only 2 sizes -- men's which do fit Joe.

Ladies -- small -- and I can't get them on -- I am a size 7!!

What slippers?

I have a pair of slippers from Princess and my room steward told me they are normally only given to Suite guests (I was in a mini-suite) but I had been so nice to her and was patient when something I had asked for wasn't readily available that her supervisor had sent me the slippers.
The Cunard slippers are given to everybody and are one size fits all and of course on me are large.
I only wear them on the ship because at home I prefer a more substantial slipper and they don't provide the support my foot needs and living in Canada you wear fleecy ones in the winter.

Even when we only have a regular balcony cabin on Princess, we always get the slippers.

We were in a mini suite on the Crown Princess and didn't get any slippers!

Four Princess cruises and we've never gotten a pair -- but we've been in insides and obstructed OV.

Mystery: Why do some of us always get Princess bedroom slippers no matter which cabin catagory ... and others never get them?

LuLu, are you at the top tier of Princess Captain's Circle? Maybe you always get them because of the loyalty program.
