Question Traditional Dining and Dolphin Deck

I had always assumed Anytime Dining is a no-brainer: not all port calls end at the same time and I want to eat at Sabatini's and Crown Grill, so there is zero chance I will eat at the same table with the same people every night. But when I looked at the Sapphire's deck plan I saw something else that looked like a no-brainer: If I stay in E711, the closest AD cabin to an aft elevator, I would be sleeping directly over the International Dining Room. I could just get on an elevator going down and the dining room is right there when I get out two decks later.

Just one little problem with that: According to the Princess website that is the traditional DR I had always expected to not eat in. So I looked for a route to the anytime dining rooms on that deck (which will be merged next year). Apparently there is no hallway connecting them and the TDR, so if I forget to take a panoramic elevator down, I have to go back up to turn around. This makes me wonder if I should reconsider my preference for anytime dining on a Princess ship. On the other hand, should I reconsider selecting an AD cabin on Emerald deck for the purpose of sleeping midship?

1 problem Andrea- There are no AD cabins Midship. Only AA & AB cabins on the Dolphin Deck (deck 9).

Basically if you really want an AD cabin. Make a sign to put on the inside of your door to remind you to go Midship and take the Panoramic elevators to dinner.

I don't care what the letters are. It just happens to be called AD on Emerald deck and AA or AB on Dolphin deck. When I said I want AD, I meant I am leaning toward the Emerald deck. I also don't care about the deck numbers because Princess skips 13 on its ships deliberately.

Well since there is a price difference in the letters, some people care about that. ADs are cheaper cabins than AB and ABs are cheaper than AAs.
