If you have sailed on more than one Princess ship, which one did you like the most?
We loved the Ruby. But we also liked the Sapphire and the Grand.
The Ruby was just a lot more modern and of course larger.

I was planning on the Ruby when I read she is in the Western Mediterranean all year, but later I read the routes are changing and a different ship will be there in 2013. Hopefully it will be the Crown or Emerald so I don't miss anything if that happens!
On the other hand, I always thought it would be neat to sail on the Grand just because my sister honeymooned on it 10 years ago (Eastern Caribbean) if she ever sails where I want to go. Maybe I can find a way to sail on both ships.
I highly recommend the Ruby. It was purely awesome. The Grand and Sapphire were more of a calm type cruise, IMHO. Just being smaller than the Ruby, they were a bit more laid back. And by all means, sail them all!

I definnitely want to sail on the Ruby, Emerald, or Crown (which are identical triplets) and of course the Grand because of the family connection. But what is it about the Ruby that does not make it as laid back as the Grand if the only differences are an additional cabin deck and Skywalkers Lounge?
Island Princess is my favorite at this point.![]()

I Love the Dawn and Caribbean. The Island & Sun were Ok. Hopefully I'll find out within this next week if I get to cruise on the Crown, Ruby or Grand in December for my Free Princess cruise.

Free cruise? Everybody on this board will envy you for that!
Ever since my sister's Caribbean honeymoon 10 years ago I thought sailing on her someday would be awesome just to be on the same ship. But I had no idea someday she would move to Europe for Mediterranean cruises or have Tex-Mex replaced with steak and seafood, so I was afraid it would never happen before her drydock.
I have only been on the Diamond and the Star. I would like a ship that had Sywalkers like the Star and Club Fusion like the Diamond ( for more dancing variety). I think the Emerald and Ruby are like that.

We've been fortunate enough to have cruised on lots of Princess ship ... many of them more than once ... been cruising a long time.![]()
Our absolute favorite was the OLE Royal Princess. The one we liked least was the OLD Crown Princess. Another favorite years ago was Sky Princess which was the Sitmar Fairsky. Princess changed the name when they bought Sitmar. Fairsky was 38,000 tons which was really large back in 1980.
We always loved the Sun Class ships -- Dawn, Sea, & Sun. Not too big and not too small!
Our current favorite is Island Pricess ... with Grand Princess a close second.
We've been on both Emerald and (new) Crown. They aren't our favorites ... but, liked Crown well enough to book her for 14 days in January.
