It sounds like they're returning to the olden days of offering some free things. Everything today seems to be pay per event & not that many people turn out for them.
I can remember back when the Cruisercize walkers would line up in the mornings & there might have been 150 people participating. Same with any of the exercise programs. They were filled to capacity.

So is Zumba a real dance or an exercise program?

It's an aerobic excercise program. quite strenuous.

Starts off OK...BUT....just look at all the action going on later!

Actually it can be modified to suit the fitness / age group , it doesn't have to get very strenuous.

Even withour making you sweat profusely it is good for balance and coordination , even memory.
