Thread: Anyone else enticed about Royal Princess?

I checked out the Princess site last week and she is a beauty. Very interested in sailing her one day. DH and I love Princess!!!

Beautiful ship. Looks like the lines are straight up and down rather than the wedding cake tier style of the Sapphire & Golden. I'm glad they went back to the straight look.

Not planning to cruise on her at this point, but who knows.

Hopefully, that will mean she'll be in the Caribbean for 2013/14 Winter cruises!

Maybe Lulu got her mixed up with another, still unnamed ship that will start sailing in 2014. I assume it will be like the Royal, but who knows.

When I read the Royal will start sailing in May 2013, my first thought was, "If she goes where I want to then, I will be on her maiden voyage!" because that is when I plan to board my first ship. But "Mediterranean" is a broad term, so I am wondering if that means western Europe, eastern Europe, or northern Africa. If she starts with a Western Mediterranean itinerary, I will do anything to be on the inaugeral sailing. Wouldn't that be sweet! Does anyone know where she will start her maiden voyage or when we will get that information?

What blew me away are the light and water show, adults-only pool, Sea Walk (glass bottom walkway), and balconies on all outdoor cabins. The ship is beautiful!

Think this would be a ship my grandparents would LOVE.

But will you love it too? I am 34 and have no reason to doubt I will!

I think I will have the wait until all the the features are known.
