We still have several punches left on our coffee card from our 2010 Grand Princess cruise.
Will we be able to use it on our cruise this year?

Not a coffee drinker, but I believe there's an expiration date on the card. You are supposedly able to use it on future cruises until that date.

There never used to be any expiration date on any of the coffee cards unless they just started doing so since January. It wouldn't surprise me that they would start doing it because people use the same card for years to get unlimited free perked coffee forever as long as there's one punch remaining.
Just looked a DH's from a very recent cruise and there is no expiration date. He was told he could use it on his next Princess cruise as long as there was a punch left. Normally, he uses all of his punches but he has two left over this time.

I just noticed that the price of the coffee card went up recently. Not surprised.

I'm sailing with Princess in a few weeks and plan to buy a couple. Glad to hear they don't expire!! I'll buy them after we leave port to avoid the CA sales tax... CA needs all of the tax revenue they can get but I pay my fair share!!

Yep---all cruiselines are required to collect the state sales tax for whichever US port they are selling any of the drink packages. Also, if you buy anything from the bars (beer, drink of the day, etc) you will be charged the state sales tax---until you reach international waters after sailaway.
