Adopt a smoking policy like Celebrity. No smoking in cabins including balconies, no smoking in casinos. in fact beyond celebrity I would like No smoking anywhere except on open decks on one side and in closed separately ventiled rooms. This reflects the staus in most major western cities now I think.

As a non-smoker (with a daughter who is asthmatic), I wouldn't mind an even tougher stance on smoking. We try to stay out of the smoking area, but sometimes we have to end up re-routing our path to get away from the smoke or smell of tobacco. On the last cruise, it seemed like there was a lot less smokers than our previous cruises, so maybe more and more people are quitting. But Princess has the casino right in the middle of one deck (on the Golden) and even on non-smoking nights, you can tell people had been smoking in there. Plus going to the Princess theater, we would need to remember to avoid one side of the hall leading to it as that's where the cigar bar is.

We still haven't been able to get together and fill out the online survey email for this last cruise. But definitely we would put in a request for the availability of trays in the buffet. Hubby will often get his girls some breakfast when we sleep in, but he needs a tray to do that -- you can put a waffle, some eggs, a muffin, bacon, bowl of fruit and a glass of OJ on one of those platters and be able to carry that down to a cabin. And putting in an order for room service won't get us all of that.

Also hubby thought the pools were too cold this time. According to the navigation channel, the temps seemed to be under 80 degrees most of the time.

We also went crazy when we were waiting for a movie to being on MUTS. The previous showing had ended at twenty minute after the hour. The next showing was at 10pm, 40 minutes later. Between then, there was a loop of a spinning MUTS logo. For about 39 minutes! We were okay with settling into the deck chairs and just talking, but that logo thing was very distracting. Nearby there was a couple who felt the same. So Princess, please show cartoons, selections from the Reflections DVD, maybe run a slide show of passenger photos (hubby's idea), something.

It would be great if Princess would offer ROUNDTRIP cruises from Ft.Lauderdale to South America. Making this possible by doing B2B cruises would be fine.

Did you ever notice the smoke that infiltrates into the show lounge from the lower doors which they refuse to close and keep the smoke out? I don't mind that they have a cigar smoking lounge there but at least they could try & ventilate the ship more.

Also when eating lunch at Princess Cays on the picnic tables there isn't even one table in the lot that's designated non- smoking table forcing us to have to eat balancing the food on our chairs.

LOL yes About smoking. For years we have been able to smoke on one side of the Terrace on the aft, and we are very careful not to offend anyone. On the Ruby, no more. That was our go to on our cruises. Also they are bringing the ships backl later & later in the fall. Looking for a new line

Personally I believe that there should be smoking on some ships. In specific, on the lifeboat that they release every hour on the hour for those wanting a smoke break.

Sorry, smokers, but between my extreme tobacco allergies and my wife's asthma I prefer a total nonsmoking policy.

Neal, you put the words in my mouth.
I think all ships should be non smoking as the majority of us actually do not smoke (anymore)...if thats not possible all areas except one should be smoke free.
