One side of the outside pool area is smoking, but I noticed on our last cruise that there was very few passengers at those tables. Though with even just a few smokers, it was an area to avoid walking through. Maybe there's fewer and fewer smokers as time goes on.

I wish Princess would offer HOT Room Service breakfasts. Something simple like scrambled eggs would be fine.

LOL - first they'd have to find someone who knows how to COOK eggs! On the Coral Princess in Alaska last June, all the cooks thought that scambled eggs are a form of soup - BLAH!!!! And Eggs Bennie - also awful.

I'd love a stricter smoking policy...don't book balconies any more because of the smoke issue, and hate the leftover smoke in the cabins.
I hate that they've gotten rid of the covered pools on the new ships, and now allow children in the covered pools on the old ships (used to be adults only), leaving the only quiet non smoking adult pool the Lotus Spa pool....with 10 chairs, and perhaps shade on one side (with 5 chairs).
    Upcoming cruise:
Avalon Luminary 4/28/12, with time in Amsterdam and Paris before and after

When I was posting on Cruise Critic, I read a lot of complaints about the beds. If it is true all the minisuite beds are too hard for people who like soft mattresses, that is on the top of my list because without the right mattress, I can't sleep unless I am dead tired.

If the mattresses are not as bad as the CC members claim, my vote goes to letting me reserve suppers at Crown Grill and Sabatini's at the time I book my cruise.

BTW Princess recently announced a more restrictive smoking policy that should make all the nonsmokers happy: No more smoking in cabins or on balconies.

Yep! Princess has improved the air for non smokers!

    Stateroom Smoking Policy Update
For all voyages departing after January 15th, 2012, Princess Cruises will prohibit smoking in passenger staterooms and balconies. This policy change reflects the preferences of a vast majority of our passengers who value having their primary living space (both stateroom and balcony) smoke-free.

Unless they've redone the beds, they are still hard as a rock. We get egg crates but they don't help much.
