I tried but I guess I don't know how, the picture must be too big or something it said upload failed. I posted it in my profile and it posted, but I don't know how you get to it. It is B102 on the Sapphire.

Thanks Hanna!! What cabin are you in on the Sapphire?

The Mexican decorations did not come with the cabin......I brought them to decorate for the Mexican Riviera!!

Dobie, we have E728 booked. We had the same one on the Grand last month.
It was ok. A little noisy because of the lounge below. I learned to just go to bed later
On your B102, what did you think of it?

Looks like you have a great aft location with a larger balcony!

Our cabin was fine....we were right under the bridge, and we were upgraded from the lowest category obstructed ocean view. You can see there was a balcony, overlooking the front of the ship, but this cabin is not sold as a balcony cabin, it is sold as an outside cabin. There is no furniture out there because of the wind (they told us). The balcony was huge, and we enjoyed being out there with our friends for sailaway. It overlooked the crew pool, which had some good views as well I moved the chair and table from the cabin out there when I wanted to relax and read.
One night we got back to the cabin and I opened the drapes and went to go outside to look at the stars. The phone rang, and the caller ID read "Bridge". It was the Officer of the Watch asking me to shut the drapes as the light from inside the cabin was interfering with their navigation!! From then on I kept the drapes closed and snuck out to look at the stars....

    Dobie,
The balcony was great. 16 ft long. And we could still see the aft wake from there.
I wasn't overly impressed with the size of the cabin though. It was livable but to me a little cramped.

I have a visual of you sneaking out to look at the stars

They really did not seem to get much time off to use it. Very few folks out there at all. Mostly we would see them at sailaways...but not in the pool, just hanging out next to it watching us leave port. Also in the early evening there would be a few folks out there. Sometimes we'd see a few out there on their cell phones. I kind of felt bad, because it seemed like there was nobody there, and we figured it was because they were all working all of the time.
I agree, Princess cabins do feel cramped. The closet is good, and I like the way the bathroom opens to the closet so that the person in bed does not get woken up when the other person goes to the bathroom, but having no sofa or small seating area kind of sucks. The fridge is nice and the fact that you can bring on your own wine is good as well.
Yeah, it was pretty funny, me sneaking out each night behind the drapes to watch the stars (and look up at the bridge to see if they would wave).
