Can anyone tell me if mobiles and internet work at sea ... and is it expensive ??

Some cruiselines now have satellite available for use during the time you are on the ship. I am not familiar with the Princess ships so can't speak directly to that. Pricing will have to come from someone who has used this service on a Princess ship.

I have used my cell phone on Princess. (Verizon). If I remeber right the charges were $2.49 a minute. Double check with your phone carrier. As for the internet, the ships use the statile, (sp) it would be hit or miss with the internet.
