Balcony Cabin vs. Mini-Suite .... Is the difference a "big deal" to you?

Yes mam it is. I like my space and the mini at least has some!

It all depends if think the $$ value is worth it or not

We always get the best cabin we (think) we can afford!!

The best thing to us about a mini-suite is the larger bathroom!

Yet, we have been willing to give that up for LOCATION.

I'll have to get back to you on this one. I'll be in my first Mini next month. Been in different types on Regular Balconies though.

We have booked mini suites on several different ships and cruise lines. They have always been very nice, but we only book them when the price is right. We usually book the highest category balcony cabin...love my creature comforts.

I've only stayed in a Balcony cabin on Princess so far and I have to say it's the smallest cabin that I've ever had! I'd definitely go for a Mini-Suite to have more space. We didn't even have a sofa or loveseat seating area, just a chair that was constantly in the way of the balcony door!

That was small! Was it an adjoining cabin...they usually don't have the sofa.

I've been fortunate enough to sail in my share of mini suites and admittedly like them alot. But in the end in comes down to price vs value. If the value does not out weigh the cost it is not worth it to me.
