Arrow New Perk for Suites & Elite

New Perk for Suites & Elite

At least I'd never noticed it until our Feb/March curise on Island Princess ....

At the Puser's Desk (guess it's called Customer Relations now) there was a line for only Suites & Elite.

Honestly, we seldom have a need to go there and had just taken a cruise on Crown for Thanksgiiving without seeing it.

Several others on our cruise mentioned it was a NEW perk ... so just passing this along.

Thats a nice perk. sometimes it does get very busy and that means a long lineup. I often go at the end of the night when there is never a line up.

I guess it can be beneficial especially when you find a mistake in their finalized bill on the last morning.

It was there when I cruised on the Ruby Princess in December, LuLu. It's also in the terminal at check-in. I'm Elite and used both lines.

Same here on the Check-In. We've been Elite for quite a while since our Sitmar cruises transfered over... often find the regular check-in to be faster. If you're Elite, you can go to any that are open ... rather than by deck.

Not so sure how I feel about the Elite/Suite Check-In at the Prusers Desk. There, I honestly feel a bit embarrassed about getting very quick attention while others who've been waiting much longer are still waiting when I leave ....

Very true that the regular line does go faster than the Elite line at times. Happened to me on the Ruby Princess in December. I don't feel embarrassed, Princess said I could, LuLu.

I haven't used it either because I'm always there very early in the morning when no one is around. It seems like a good perk but I'm sure some of the people waiting in a long line won't think much of it.

A perk that is generated by being a frequent cruiser shouldn't embarrass you! You have earned it! I have no qualms accepting the generosity of the cruise line that chooses to reward me for choosing their product.

Those passengers in the longer lines could have the same perk by completing the required number of cruises to make them eligible for those rewards. They still have something to look forward to!

We're Elite and it was on the Sapphire in March. Used the special line once or twice, but other times there were more people standing in line for the Elite person than in the " regular " line....we went to the "regular" line...faster. It is a nice perk, however.
The printers where you can print your own bill just by swiping your card were the best....saved a long line, I'm sure!!
    Upcoming cruise:
Avalon Luminary 4/28/12, with time in Amsterdam and Paris before and after

I'm one who hate lines, but on a cruise I am never in a hurry because I'm there to relax, so I have no problem standing in line with the "un"Elite.
