    Ruby Princess Riviera Deck Concern

We are booking our 1st ever cruise and were looking at cabins on the Riviera deck thinking maybe higher decks are better for views etc BUT I noticed when looking at pictures of the ship that the Riviera deck stateroom balconies appear to be right under the deck above which steps out from the ship. I think its the ice cream bar, neptune bar etc. Does this mean the balconies will be in the shade unlike the lower cabins which step futher out from the ship.

Can anyone help or post a piccy. We were looking at a cabin forward of midships.
    thank you very much

Depending where the sun sits every balcony will get some sun, though not as much as a non covered one. The plus of a fully covered balcony is privacy, no one can look down, as well as nothing can be dropped on your balcony from above
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
