We should have enough people checking that we will most likely be the first to book.
Maybe we could set up an e-mail list and when one finds they are available they will send e-mails to everyone. I will set that up if we want to do that.

The only problem with that is if it opens up at midnight...I'm not in the habit of checking my email in the middle of the freakin night.
The Princess web site says excursions may be booked 120 days before sailing. I have friends who are sailing on Oct 11. So by my calendar, there are 116 days to go. The website is still not open for booking excursions.
Do they mean anytime they feel like it after 120 days or what?
Has anyone had an experience like this with them?
From my experience for booking excursions online with Princess, the time before sail date varies so I'm not surprised at all.
That was one thing we liked when we went on the Caribbean Princess, we didn't think to book online until the excursion we wanted was sold out online. When we boarded the ship we had a flyer for excursions in our cabin. It showed the one we wanted that was sold out online, so we said what the heck, lets try and book it! Got it no problem at all! We later talked with the Shore-ex desk and they told us the same thing! "Only half of the slots get sold online!"

I'm glad to know the specifics of the on board slots. We were disappointed when we couldn't book an excursion online but we were glad to find out it was available on board. The thing to remember though is if it's sold out online, it may sell out quickly on board, so sign up quickly when you board.

We may need to do this by cellphone instead. Some maybe sleeping when they open
