Call me cheap, or what ever, but I am not willing to fork over another $34 each to have lobster on a cruise that I am already spending several thousands of dollars to take. If this trend continues with all cruise lines soon there will be an extra charge to use the gangway to board the ship, but only for those who don't feel like jumping in the water and crawling up the anchor chain!

I won't call you cheap. I didn't spring for the extra charge myself. However, when you think of what a lobster dinner costs in a land based restaurant, $34 isn't that much. My big confession here is that I don't really like lobster very much. I find it much too rich for my taste. Hard to believe it wasn't that many years ago that lobster was considered to be a junk fish. Working men took lobster sandwiches to work because it was cheap.

I am drooling with that menu and my cruise is only 342 days away. It sure going to be a LONG time until I get my lobster, but I definitely WILL get a whole lobster as we are celebrating 25 years of marriage. I deserve it. lol

I am paying it too, I am originally from Mass, so had all the lobster I wanted, Not so here in Florida

So when I cruise and I can get a real Maine lobster I am going for it!!
