    Princess Ship and Itinerary Question

We are looking at several cruise possibilities for 2007.........yes 2007. We are booked through October of 06.

We are looking at the Radiance of the Seas transatlantic in August of 07 but are also interested in a Princess Cruise/Tour of Alaska.

My question is does Princess "normally" use the same ships each year in Alaska for their cruise tours? I have the 2006 brochure but of course, has nothing yet for 07............are the ships and itineraries going to be close to the same except dates?

Looking for a smaller Princess ship if we choose the Alaska itinerary

Any info or advice is appreciated.

    Jim

Yes they use the same ships for Alaska each year.
Which cruisetour are ya looking at? I've done one of the Heart of Alaska cruisetours. So any questions hopefully I can answer.

Heather..........I don't know...........the only Princess cruise I took was last November on the Caribbean Princess.........it wasn't a good experience.....but I want to try again..........

What I want is a smaller ship..........any of those currently doing Alaska so I can check?

    Thanks for your help

Jim I don't think the 2007 is out yet, but I have enjoyed the Dawn and the Sea. I know what you mean about the CP, it was awfully crowed. The mini-suites on the Dawn and Sea are like the VS and PS on the Caribbean Princess except the decks are very narrow on the Dawn and Sea.....

The Coral and the Island are the smallest. I've heard good things about both. In fact there is a thread on CC about the Island in Alaska that is so funny! The guy writing it is turning the cruise into a book. I've copied most of his posts on a word doc and right now I'm up to 98 pages.
