Been on the Sapphire in its third month of sailing (Alaskan cruise). Really liked it. It would have only repositioned to the Asian area within the past few weeks, so it makes sense that we haven't heard from anyone yet for this season. Maybe someone who has gone on one of last year's Asian cruises on the Sapphire will chime in.

Maybe we Princess vets can still answer your questions.

We are new to Princess and taking our first cruise on the Caribbean Princess on January 6, 2008 and then again on January 13, 2008. All of our previous cruises have been with RCCL so this will definately be a different cruise experince for us.

I've been on the Crown Princess, in it's Inaugural Year. It's a great ship, Max. Capacity, 3,599 Pax, and i'm booked on her again, in Oct, 2008.

Ziggy - Yes we were fornatate enough to keep the same cabin, But the downside is we have been waitlisted for the traditional main seating of dinner. We have not decided how we are going to handle that because of my husbands medical concerns. Guess we will just have to check once we get onboard.

Just have to make a hotel reservation on Fort lauderdale. Can anyone recommend a good hotel for one night in Fort lauderdale. Preferably one that offers free shuttle service.

Be sure as soon as you get on the ship and go to the dining room and make sure the Madre'D (sp) knows about your husbands medical conditions. That will help get a seating

We had group pricing but it was great hotel and well worth the money.

They also have free breakfast with hot waffles, pancakes, danishes, hot & cold cereals, fresh fruit & juices, etc.

Me, too . . . I'm not a Princess cruiser - YET.
But I will be on the Crown Princess with Char next October.
