The Grand was my first "huge" ship and also my first balcony. For the first few days I got lost a lot. In spite of the size and # of pax, it didn't feel real crowded to me. The cruise was to the Western Caribbean, which was my least liked itinarary. I came away still preferring the Sun. However I have since been on the Star and Emerald which are very similar to the Grand, thus I didn't get lost on them. I would not hessitate to sail on the Grand again....but still preferr the Sun Class. JMO
Thanks for the reply. I was on the Sun for 14 days and still got lost! I've a hopeless sense of direction. So I guess I'm constantly gonna be lost on the Grand. But that's half the fun - never know who or what I'll meet.

I am new to Princess and to CLF. We sailed on the Oct 03-Oct 13 Crown Princess to Canada/New England. We had a group of 26 people from Texas, and the plane arrangements by Pincess was not good at all. We did like that the ship stayed in Quebec City for the night, so even when our plane was late, we still made it on board. The ship was very nice. It was confusing for the first few days to find the Botticelli Dining room. You have to cross the front to the back of the ship's elevators/stairs to access this room. The entertain was ok, although the cruise director, Neil was exceptually awesome. Overall it was a very nice trip.
