My husband and I had our first cruise-tour of Alaska in June 2007 on the Island Princess- loved every minute. We are leaving on the Coral Princess on November 29 for a cruise through the Panama Canal. I am so excited!!!

Good morning

To locate anything on our forums do this:
1. Click on Forum Home located at the top left under the banner with the island that says CruiseLineFans.com
This will open up to a page that has a lot of "Decks"
2. Scroll down until you see the area where your subject might be. In your case, scroll down to the Sun deck where all the cruise line forums are located.
3. Click on Princess Cruise Line. This will open up the forum with all the Princess related threads.
4. At the beginning of the Princess page is another section called Princess Roll Call. Click on this and it will open a page with all the Princess ships listed.
5. Click on the ship you will be sailing on and look for the thread for your date.

I know that sounds like a lot, but it really is very simple once you have done it.

You will really like the Coral Princess. We cruised November 2007, during Thanksgiving, through the Panama Canal. Very nice cruise.

Leaving tomorrow, Crown Princess. I guess you can see a Thanksgiving pattern.

The Caribbean Princess is one of our favorites! We sailed the Caribbean in April. The Cafe Caribe is great. (The buffet is closed and the Cafe Caribe opens). More like sit-down dining with a buffet selection.

We were on the Aloha deck, can't remember the room. That deck is very close to the top and near the buffet, pool, etc.

We especially enjoyed the movies each day in the theater and also movies under the stars.

We leave tomorrow on the Crown, the same cruise we took in April, just a different ship.

Shirley

Have a great time. We will fly to Acapulco on Thanksgiving Day. Our cruise leaves from there. We picked this particular cruise because we honeymooned in Acapulco 40 years ago - anxious to see the changes the years have made.

Hi-

First time on Princess so I have a silly but important question.

My aunt and uncle are big soda drinkers. Do they have a system like a soda card? Where you can go to the bar and get all the soda you want to drink? One at a time of course, if so how is the quality of the soda? Is it like all diluted and nasty or is just average like you find at a Fast Food restaurant.

Thanks,
Ben

Yes, there is a soda card (actually sticker, I think). There will be tables all over the place selling them on the first day (maybe even the bars). It will cost about $5/day. It'll get you fountain drinks at the bars (not good on cans). I'm not a Coke fan, so I try to bring on my Mountain Dew.
