I would like to see information on private tours in each port and transfers from airport to hotel or ship.

Check out this link to our Cruise Places forum --> Cruise Places. You will find many ports of call there with really good info...ask your questions there and you may get some good suggestions from folks who have been to your ports before.

I've only been on Sapphire but am booked in a CLF group on the Ruby 11-04-2009.

I am really excited about sailing Princess again.

Hi:

Just discovered this forum. We have cruised on Princess 4 times, twice to Alasks, once to the Panama Canal, once to the Caribbean. Ships were Dawn, Ocean, Coral and Caribbean Princess. We are scheduled on the Crown in November to the Caribbean and the Golden Princess to Hawaii on 4-1-09.

We have sailed on three other cruise lines, but our loyalty belongs to Princess.

We are new to Princess and cruising, at least from the passenger side! We had very little choice when we were able to go so we will be on the Crown Princess. That's a lot of people. Lots.That concerns me a little.

Our anniversary (reason for the cruise, if we needed one!) isn't till May and, oddly, Princess seems think we can only celebrate within 45 days.Whatever!

The whole tipping thing can be mind-messing but calmer heads have been helpful at sorting that out.

All these blind decisions make me feel like we're free falling.Cabin selection for example.We booked a Baja balony 'guarantee' and by the weekend had a cabin assignment Lido but under the spa.TA seemed to think that was the thing to do.

Clothing and excursions will be my next hurdles.

On top of everything else, my husband is a submariner.I hear they're not popular in any cabin!
