Guys remember my whole point on asking about this was to make sure I was reading this correctly................I am not as familiar with Princess as I am RC...........just wanted to make sure I read this right.
Costa Romantica
Fascination
BRB
Sovereign
Jubilee
Voyager
Fantasy
Disney Wonder
Star Princess
Liberty of the Seas
Freedom of the Seas
Carnival Legend
Crown Princess
I can't be gone 21 days...........well ok maybe LOL!! But my whole question was whether or not I was reading that correctly or if I had made a mistake.
I will say this about Princess.........when they run a deal for their Captains Club members they normally run a pretty good deal...........and I still think Princess has the best itineraries of any cruise line I have ever seen.
I have my summer issue of Captain's Circle. It does list a 21 day r/t San Diego. Doesn't give the price but does list $99 for upgrades which expired on 6/30. Maybe there was a promo mailing, but I can't believe the price stated on this thread. We paid $1295 for a Coral mini last year Panama Canal partial transit r/t Fort Lauderdale. My daughter and SIL just booked a balcony cabin for the same cruise at $1595 for a balcony cabin. I would like to see this promo. We learned last year that it costs Princess $250,000 to pass through the Gatun Locks for just one time. I doubt they are doing a cheapie with that expense and with oil prices sky high, I'm sure that has gone up at this time.

Ok I was wrong..............you need to read the small print..........says it applies to the December 14 sailing only...........which is a 10 day Panama Canal partial sailing.
I apologize for getting everyone excited. Like I said..........I have only sailed Princess once and when I got this in the mail, I was having a hard time reading their promotional flyer.........
Honestly, Jim, I don't think you need to apologize, you got us to Dream BIG!
As you said, Princess has awesome itineraries, and the cruise you pointed out goes to places I didn't know a ship could go. Got me thinking outside the box.
I am now considering Princess for my retirement ship.

But you are right about their itineraries.........some of the finest I have ever seen.
As you all probably know by now, my favorite cruise lines are Princess and HAL. HAL specifically for the Volendam. But I truly love Princess cruises. They have nice itineraries and their Panama Canal r/t from Ft. Lauderdale is awesome! We've done it twice. One day we will take the repo cruise from San Diego full transit through the canal back to Ft. Lauderdale. If wishes were to come true, I would wish Jim's original post was for real!!!!

Dreaming is what cruising is all about. There is no way to discribe the feeling as you put to sea, the feeling you get as the horn sounds and the cheer erupts from a ship. You have to experience that to understand where we are coming from, right? Lets all dream and enjoy that cruise of a lifetime. I can't wait until April.
