Thread: Princess Cays -- Booking a Beach Bungalow ....

While pricey, those Beach Bungalows do seem very nice and something we'd really enjoy on a warm sunny day!

That's our problem! We're normally there in Jan/Feb. Sometimes, it is hot & sunny ... other times, it's cloudy/rainy and very chilly (especially the water).

Because there are only a limited number of the Beach Bungalows, we'd need to book one in advance. Hate doing that when we don't know how the weather will be.

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated ....

I would book it as soon as they are available to make sure you have one. They have built 6 more, so there are 12 of them now. You can cancel in advance if it looks like the weather will be bad.

We are going to book one with 2 other couples for our Crown Princess CLF Group cruise in October....splitting the cost makes it a bit more affordable .

Remember the bungalows are separated from the main beach area. They're on the other side of the tender pier. We knew people on our last cruise who rented one and said they wouldn't do it again. They weren't impressed with the service they got. However, the shade can come in handy on a hot day. We got toasted on the main side, although we could have gone up under some trees if we wanted.

On our Emerald cruise (B2B) we will have two stops at Princess Cays. We're thinking of booking it ASAP for the second ... and ... checking it out on the first. Seems like a plan ....

Good plan! If you don't like the looks of it you can cancel. But DO book the day they first become available to insure that you will have one.

Once the bungalow is booked, is one assigned to you or are they "first come, first serve" ?

I don't know the answer to that one!
