The newest ship in Disney Cruise Line's fleet has arrived at its new home port on the Space Coast.
The Disney Dream started pulling into Port Canaveral around 7 a.m. Tuesday, bringing a king-sized celebration like only Disney can, as well as hundreds of new jobs for the port.
The new, 130,000-ton ocean liner has room for 4,000 passengers.
It joins the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder in offering cruise vacations for families around the world.
The Disney Dream is the first of two new cruise ships Disney is building at a combined cost of more than $1.8 billion.
The new ships feature a cruise-industry first with the "AquaDuck," a water slide that extends over the side of the ship.
The Dream also features interior cabins with virtual portholes that provide real-time views of the sea.
Port Canaveral will now be home for the Disney Magic and Disney Dream. The Disney Wonder will sail out California.
The Disney Dream officially sets sail from Port Canaveral on Jan. 26 on alternating three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas and Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.
During the summer months, the ship will alternate four- and five-night itineraries, with two stops at Castaway Cay.
