Access to Gate 1 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is blocked near Port Canaveral cruise terminal while authorities examine a suspicious package inside a van.

It'd not the Cruise Ship ... it's one of the gates to get into Cape Canaveral AIR FORCE STATIOM (KSC) ... which is vry NEAR the ytrminal.. uses the same road.

The gate is accessed mostly by employees and it's also known as the south gate on S.R. 401, a spokesperson for the base said.

The incident is impacting anyone trying to get to the cruise terminal because the blocked road is about a half-mile from the cruise terminal.

It's also the only road to get into the terminal... and also the road to that particular Gate for the AFB. They are very close to one anothr. You can see the rocket launch towers from the Cruise Ships

"Suspicious package deamed to be nothing" and the road has been re-opened.
