KSC Launch Schedule

In addition to being a very easy port for embarkation / disembarkation, Port Canaveral offers something that no other port can -

Proximity to the nations Kennedy Space Center, and occcasional opportunities to see the spectacular launch of a Shuttle or unmanned Rocket as a special added bonus to your cruise vacation.

This thread is dedicataed to information about NASA, the Space Center, and launch schedules.

If you;'re sailing out of Port Canaveral, be sure to check here before making your final arrival plans... coming in a day early to see a real launch could turn your cruise into a rare opportunity to see a real live launch.

There's nothing like it!

I'm moving the KCS and Launch relatead posts from the Port Canaveral THINGS TO DO AND SEE (Port Canaveral - Things to Do and See) (Port Canaveral - Things to Do and See) thread into this one, as this topic deserves its own home so people can find this special information more easily.

If you've not done KSC, that is absolutely tops!

Other than that - I think you would really enjoy midway airboats - or one of the nature boat tours.

KSC is the one we want........is there a private tour company or do you just show up and take their tour they offer?

Thanks

I would do it on your own if I were you.
You can pre-purchase your tickets on the internet.
It is about a 15 minute drive (if that) from your hotel.

Here is a website that describes the different types of tours available:

Kennedy Space Center Tours
