There are storms moving into the area... Strong winds expected.

Also - not weather related - two major nuclear power plants in South Florida are offline. There are widespread power outages in the state - 3 million without power at present (down from 4.4 million) and we have been told to expect rolling power outages for the next 10 hours.

This means traffic lights on y our drive route may or may not be working. PLEASE DRIVE WITH CARE!

Some flights in/out of Orlando are experiencing delays.

    Marine conditions

Small Craft Advisory remains in effect from 9 PM EST this evening through Wednesday afternoon

Southwest winds will increase ahead of a cold front that will move across central Florida tonight. The front will likely be preceded by a band of strong to severe thunderstorms. Winds will shift to northwest behind the front late tonight and into Wednesday. Winds and seas are expected to become hazardous both ahead of and behind the front through Thursday... especially offshore. High pressure moving across the area Friday through Sunday will produce onshore winds each day.
