Port Canaveral Welcomes Ceres Marine Terminals

Industry Giant To Run Royal Caribbean Cruise Operations


PORT CANAVERAL, FL— June 23, 2006 – Ceres Marine Terminals, Inc., one of the world’s largest marine and cruise terminal operators, is the new operator of stevedoring and terminal services at Port Canaveral for Royal Caribbean International. The appointment, effective June 20, represents a milestone for Port Canaveral and its drive to expand world-class cruise and marine terminal operations.

Ceres Marine Terminals, Inc., a subsidiary of Ceres Terminals Incorporated, was acquired by Nippon Yusen Kaisha ("NYK") in 2002 and operates as a wholly owned subsidiary in the Harbour Division of the NYK Group. NYK is a worldwide shipping and logistics company that operates container ships, car carriers, bulk carriers, tankers and reefer vessels. The NYK Group also is involved in warehousing services and logistics as well as land and air transportation services. NYK is the parent company of Crystal Cruises, a luxury cruise line based in Los Angeles.
