Question What tours to take?/places to see/what not to miss?

    Hi everybody,
I have looked and researched this forum and read cruise critic every day ( till i am blue ) and there is so little recommended or commented on. Any info on ANY of these ports would be so helpful:Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, Costa Rica, Huatulco. On past cruises I have found tons of recomendations and great reviews on places to do or see OR not see. Every suggestion that i have taken has been excellent and I just cant find much for this itinerary, any info you might have would be greatly appreciated.
We have taken the train in Panama during our partial transit and did a tour with Oscar while in Costa Rica ( great tour ), As many of you would agree-a recomendation from a fellow cruiser means sooo much more then a suggestion thru a travel broucher.
    Many thanks for any help.
    Nadine

Did a morning couple hour tour or Acupulco through ships tour. Then had lunch at a nice place across the street and a block or so from where the ship docked. Met some crew staff who are from there having lunch at the same spot. In fact a crew recommended it to us. Food and atmosphere were very good.
In Huatulco took taxi to a nearby beach. Very rough seas and current, only waded. No taxies back, so walked, wasn't too far.

In Costa Rica did an all day tour of the jungle and a river boat ride. Tour through the ship. Saw lots of crocks, got really close to some of them. Was a good tour.

Just back from a Princess cruise with my 23 year old daughter that included Cabo. I took the early morning boat trip out to Lands End and the rocks. It ws only $19 but since you tender in I saw just about the same thing. The boat tour did take us around to the other side of the rocks so we saw some resorts and incredible homes on the cliffs but it only lasted about an hour. Some people then got on buses for a beach morning.

Of course we had to go to Sammy Hagar's bar Cabo Wabo. Just know that guide books say that everything opens early when the ships come in. NOT! Almost nothing opened before 10 and we had to be back on board by 1:30.

There is a beautiful modern shopping area at the far end of the dock area and lots of small shops across the main street.

Lots of pushy vendors along the dock--cutest ones had little hats on iguanas you could pay for pictures--didn't buy but it was fun looking.
