We're going on the Summit 4-15-07 full 14 day transit and I found it hard to justify the extra cost for a balcony (that will probably pay for most of the rest of our charges) so I'm glad to hear we can enjoy the tranit fully from on deck - also thanks for the tip about deck 4, Sailyn! Hope people can tell us the don't miss kind of excursions and whether we need to be sure to book Cruise or independent.
