Puerto Amador ... Warning for pax with limited mobility.

    From the Princess Patter ....

LIMITED MOBILITY PASSENGERS GOING ASHORE IN PUERTO AMADOR

For the call in Puerto Amador, our tenders berth at a very narrow floating pontoon with some steep steps. Due to the size of the pontoon, little assistance is available to our passengers and therefore all passengers going ashore today need to be able to walk unaided along a narrow, moving pontoon.

We ask all our passengers who have restricted mobility to carefully consider this prior to going ashore.

Thought it might be on interest to some so I saved this copy from our recent cruise.....

LuLu, what was your actual experience when you did tender in Puerto Amador compared to this notice?

Our mobility is fine, but still curious as we have a port stop there in Feb and have a small group booked to do a private tour of Panama City. There is an older woman in our small tour group that has just recently experienced difficulties with stairs and uneven surfaces. Drs still trying to determine exactly what is causing her recent problems.

    Thanks !

    Joy
