Welcome aboard Bubbles. Sorry I can't help but I am sure someone will.

As a general rule if you book a trip on the ship it is more expensive than making your own plans. Having said that if you are on a ships tour and are late back they will wait for you, which may not be the case if you arranged it yourself.
