Regently, people are saying the the RAILROAD (Standard and Dome) is NOT a "Round Trip" on the train ... either going to or coming back is by bus.

Carnival is now offering a similar excursion -- from Colon City, along the Canal, through the rainforest, across the Continental Divide; touring the Miraflores Locks and old Canal Zone; then returning by bus. We've previously sailed through and toured the Gatun Locks. Can this excursion be worth $160?

We took the Panama Canal Train Tour with the QM2 thru Cunard.

We took the Bus trip from Colon to the westside and then the Train Ride from the Westside to the Eastside.

The Bus trip was very comfortable as well as the Train at the end of the day.

We very thought it was well worth the cost of the tour we were charged.
