    Wish we had been able to enjoy some of those far distant cruise destinations when we were younger--too far to fly now, unless we win the lottery and can cruise around the world!

    Hi cruisers, The Tahititian Islands are beautiful, but for me paradise is Aitutaki, in the Cook Islands.....a place you can dream about....
    Also, much cheaper to stay than Tahiti .

    My favorite lagoon resort happens to be in Tahiti but, strangely, it's not mentioned anywhere in the article.

    If you look carefully at this photo you can see it floating in the middle of the lagoon on the far side of the island...
