Thread: MS Oosterdam December 15th 2007 back to the Mexican Riviera

I thought I had started a Roll Call for this but to my surprise I had not Less than 8 1/2 months till we return to my favoirst ship

Anyone else considering or booked this cruise?

They're EVERYWHERE! I just got an email from this website saying I hadn't been here in a while, so I got on to see what's what and surprise surprise....

Just curious... what do you do when you aren't cruising on the O ???

You asked what do I do when I am not cruising the O..... well I do a lot of dreaming of cruising on the O and planning my next cruise on the O but in all honestly I work at a Toyota Dealership as a Sub Prime Finance Director. I am usually here 6 days a week. I have doing this for 12 years so I am allowed 4 weeks vacation a year and my husband also gets 4 weeks so we make sure everyone of those days is on a HAL ship. As much as I prefer to always be on the Oosterdam we do mix it up a bit. We will be on the Noordam June 17th and on the Ryndam October 7th before we return to the Oosterdam. Although there is a possibility we may only cruise the Oosterdam for 2008 we will just have to see.

Time to bring this forward since just 12 weeks from today we will be boarding the Beautiful MS Oosterdam which is truly my favorite ships

I had to make a hard decision in regards to the cabin. I have just notified my TA today that we would like to switch our SC 5187 cabin which has been our cabin for the past 3 times on the Oosterdam to a SY cabin. It is not that we cannot afford it it is just that my income has fallen drastically shorter this year. Since we like to cruise at least 4 times a year I decided to be money smart. The midship SY cabin is very close in size to the SC aft cabin with out the big wrap around verandah. The difference in price is well over $1000. Since we do not use the Neptune Lounge that much when we are in the aft I just do not feel the additional ammenities are worth the extra money that could go toward the next cruise on the Oosterdam that we will for sure be back in 5187. It was a tough call but I also need to use some logic. We will still have a wonderful time and enjoy every minute.

Well, I have short timer's disease In just 72 hours I will be in San Diego about to board my favorite ship the Beautiful MS Oosterdam.She will be quite lovely all dressed up for Christmas
