Thread: Even tho I worked all weekend in the yard...

I have to admit, I worked all weekened in the yard, AS USUAL, today was an extraordinary day....we had a severe bus crash today...a third grade, 9 year year precious little girl was killed today in a school bus. It is an extremely unusual occurence....I am so heartbroken....I can't even imagine what the driver will be going thru, as she hasn't been told yet. I feel like it was one of my children, that's how we driver's stick together....Sue please answer your phone!!!

I don't even want to begin to argue with anyone about how safe school buses are or are not designed. In fact I want to tell you that last week I was in the office when three brand-new buses were delivered and the office I was in at that time was responsible was signing for them.....and the cost of each bus was (mind you at a special rate, and all that) $56,000. And then today after the crash....hearing (AGAIN) the statistics of the safety of school buses, hello......like 18 severe crashes in the last 20 years.....and DAMN we have that every day in a regular vehicle....so why can't I purchase a bus as my personal vehicle...'cause they are obviously safer......I am not even gonna argue with any of you....I drive one every day and have done so for 9 years....All I gotta say is if you saw any of the reports of today's crash....I cannot believe that driver survived....that is the same kind of bus I drive....OMGGGGGGGGG...

Um....I wish...I was gone all day on a field trip and had to listen to the reports over the radio...of course, hearing that it was a "transit" bus I couldn't even wait to get home to see...it was the exact same sort of bus I drive and now I am waiting for the 10pm news...you obviously don't understand....

yea, I know what you are thinking...JUST A BUS DRIVER.....hmmmm...wait 'til you have children that might be on a bus and then come talk to me.........wtf

Lisa, I just read your post!! I tried to call, but you are sleeping. I left a message with you daughter. I am so sorry. I know you are just torn up, and I am so sorry I am not there for you!! My prayers are with the childs family, the little girl is in God's arms now!! I will call you tomorrow!! I am with you in spirit!!
