Thread: I need to Vent

I must say I appreciate the friendly folks on this site and the respect that they have for each others opinions. I appreciate it even more now that I have been banned from that other site for daring to recommend a tour company that I have used in the past. It is clear that they have their favorites and if yours is not one of them they take great objection. All I can say is thank god there is a fast growing alternative. keep up the good work guys.

Hey - thanks so much. I'm sorry you had a bad experience trying to share information. You won't find such a drastic response here especially if one places the comments in the most relevant location or is truly trying to share useful information with fellow members.

Be sure - we remove a ton of travel SPAM - but do so in a different fashion. I'm glad you enjoy the site - welcome your suggestions - ask for your patience with some of the forum bugs and hiccups as we work hard to sort through them.

canpass, I have so many dings and been banned so many times Iv lost count. There is no appeal even when they are wrong, or even if they think you meant what you never said.

"I have a great PVP" was promoting my PVP even though I never mentioned who she was or contact info. So, since they wouldnt talk to you I clicked the red triangle on other posts where people said "I have a great PVP" too. and said, these people said what I did. that ding was for "over reporting". My last 6 have been for made up rules. Lets just say they can be overzealous. It used to bother me, until I got so many it no longer has meaning.

I wound up with 3 infractions for that one. I think you have to just shrug off the warnings on that site as clearly its not evenhanded and some mods take their power a little too seriously.

Actually we celebrate the 1st of July in Canada just got back from seeing Kate and William and got a spectacular picture.

Thanks, I have let it go, I have been permanently banished. I was honestly trying to follow their rules but it seemed for me it was impossible as once they have you tagged you are finished. I hope as this site continues to grow that the roll calls will become very active. If I want to go back there are lots of ways of doing it, but you know it is just not worth it.

Tom, you can vent here any time you need! I'm sorry that you had the bad experience "over there", but we have heard that same story many times over. It just doesn't seem that the rules are the same for all people.
