Not off to a good start!

Omg, we were supposed to be in Vancouver by noon today, but Delta graciously extended our flight time by over 6 hours. How thoughtful of them, them must have known how much I love those portapotties!

Anyway, Hubby and I are trying to make the best of it by getting extremely inebriated in first class (woohoo)!

We still get to go out to some amazing restaurant tonight in a city that we have never been to so we are happy

    Take care all!

BTW, it is sunny and beautiful in Seattle today (a town we were never supposed to be in)

P.S. Another reason to love Seattle: the airport has amazing internet access

    Yo Robin

    This is not sounding good!!

So you are spending the night in Seattle instead of Vancouver?

Is Delta footing the hotel bill?

You are right -- we always fly out 2 -3 days early.

Oh my! But you have the right attitude...slurp up those free drinks in first class and look forward to finally arriving in Vancouver!

Sunny in Seattle bodes well for the rest of your trip.

    Keep us posted, OK!

No, we are not staying overnight in Seattle, we are waiting one more hour to get on a plane to Vancouver. We have been travelling now for 13 hours, ouch (when our trip was supposed to be like 7 hours total).

Our compensation was a $6 food court coupon, yay

I can't see flying in the same day as the cruise. Good luck.

I've been to Seattle three times, the last time pre- and post-cruise. It was the first time for my hubby and girl and they loved it. We came up on the train, and got there close to midnight Friday/Saturday for our Sunday cruise.

Robin, it's getting close to 8. Hope you made it to the restaurant. The Vancouver airport is usually a zoo, so I hope it all turned out ok for you.
