    Exclamation Happy Australia Day

Tomorrow is Australia Day. We celebrate the "Invasion" cos that's sort of what happened of european settlers and convicts.

Aussies celebrate by having barbecues and parties and there will be fireworks in the evening. They are set to Australian music such as my favourite band INXS.

My daughter has invited friends over from a swim and a barbie so its going to be a long long day.

Seriously its a great day - like Christmas - lots of family and friends but you don't have to buy presents !!!!

Julie, may I be the first to wish you a Happy Australia Day! Wish I wasn't so far away or I'd be there enjoying it with you.

What are you going to cook on the barbie?

I'm doing a whole baked Salmon and Kristi's friends are having sausages, chicken wings and burgers and of course lots of salad. Its going to be quite hot.

Kris has been baking biscuits and cakes all day and the house smells wonderful.

No pictures from me. My husband bought me a camera for Christmas 2008 and my daughter borrowed it. Someone smashed the window and broke into her car stealing my camera and her GPS. If any of Kristi's friend take any I'll see if she can show me how to do it. Won't be any of me though - I'm camera shy
