hello all,
my name is Ashton and I'm just a comic fan who likes to draw this crazy comic strip for fun. in the past I've been posting it on the laundry room for my kids to read but now I've decided to expand its exposure, not because I think its so great but just because its kind of fun to have an audience.
any comments, good or bad, are welcome~ its a work in progress so I don't mind any critiques at all and I'd like to make it better. Right now this story line is a homage to the Asian horror movies- Ring and Dark Water.

I’m back with another episode of “Firebird” and hoping for two things~ that you come back to read it again and that your gracious mod’s on the message board allow me to continue posting. It’s a lot of fun, but a lot of work too. My goal is to crank these out once a month and for the art to be good enough for you to understand what is going on. To be honest I may be a little bit late sometimes depending on work, family life, etc. Also I decided to take #6 in a different direction somewhat and let you meet the lady behind the mask- who she is and what she does for a living…hope you enjoy, I will be sure to answer any questions / comments from you.<o:p></o:p>

Thanks for coming back to check out another episode of Firebird, I really appreciate it. I've received a couple of inquiries as to when Linda Park will be back in her Firebird costume and my answer is very soon. I realize that because of its monthly format Firebird is a "slow burn" when it comes to story telling, but I plan to make the wait worth it…expect a battle royale very soon! Also in case anyone is wondering, my goal is to release this comic strip once per month around the last week sometime. thanks for coming back to read it agian~ and you're right a month is too long. idealy I'd like to release this weekly but so far am only able to get these out on a monthly basis and I thank you for your patience on the schedule.
