Sorry i have not been on,especialy to thank U all for the prayers,we think they might be working, after a week of temps 100.5 - 104,he is running normal today,so we r sitting it out tonight,he has 5 bags on a pole, pumping into him,and they have to stop the bleeding every time they look for a new vein, the infection might have been from the cathatar and they removed it.

We got the new results from the bone marrow test,NO CANCER,so now they pump hom back up with platelets and see if the cancer shows up again,if very high count,we then go to bone marrow transplant.
He is on his 8th pint today, but all of us are exhuberent.

There r 3 other cancer patients in to see him from other states, one from Denver,so we feel good about his qualifications.

That's all for now, will say a prayer for Shirtzcruiser(sp) tonight, prayers seem to work.

God Bless Matt Tom. Our prayers, and love continuue for you both and Matt and your entire family
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Tom - that is certainly good news. And thank you for the prayers for Schertzie. Hope you don't mind but I've been adding Matt to the "Daily Pray For" book at the hospital's chapel.

Tom, please don't apologize for not being here. Your being there for Matt is much more important right now. Great news that his temp is down, the infection is gone, and that the 1st bone marrow test came back NO CANCER!!

Matt, you, and Gail are still in my daily prayers.

But you can remember Matt and know someone else out there would appreciate your donation as much as Tom and his family appreciate the donations they using for Matt.

How sweet of you to add Matt to your church's prayer list!
Thanks Sonja, I am a regular donor, and type o positive so some one gets them from me like clockwork LOL But I know Red Cross used to issue credits to a person, so if someone from here donated, they sent the credit to where Matt is and gave him the platelets from a donor there. Its sort of a guaranty reserve for the patient

I haven't donated for a friend or family member (my Dad & brothers are type o neg) so I'm not sure if they still do it, guess I'll ask on my next visit

Tom!!! That is wonderful news!!!! I am sooo happy and will continue to pray for you all!!! Big hugs!!!!

That's facinating Ziggy, and something I did not know. I wonder if they still do that?

I used to donate all the time. I'm O+ also so it was nice for the Red Cross. I haven't donated in a while but this situation with Matt has reminded me why it's so important. We have a drive every second Tuesday of the month and you can bet that I will be there in April.

Is anyone else with me in making a donation in the next month?
