Tom - I certainly will include you, Matt, and your family in my prayers. There have been so many advances in the treatment of Leukemia and may Matt be able to overcome this disease.

Update from Tom:

At the hospital from 8:30am to 3 PM, getting his first Chemo treatment, it will be everyday for 7 days, his white blood count went from 27,000 on Thurs. to 117,000 today ?????, the home care nurse just departed after giving us IV instructions and leaving us with a stand and 3 boxes of iv's and meds.

Be sure and thank all for their prayers and to please keep them coming!

Matt just turned 40.

Tom, you and Gail and Matt are all in my prayers. I am so sorry that you are having to deal with this terrible disease but at least Matt is home with you where he can be more comfortable and you can keep him close in your arms. I will keep praying for strength and healing.
