Thread: Things that happen at your table!

Thought that I would start this thread as I'm sure people have some great stories to tell!!
I will start with this!: Last year we were on the Brilliance of the seas travelling from Barcelona to Miami we asked to sit at a big table and got one for 10 which was great as we just love to meet new friends. On the first propper night which I think was formal a Norwegian couple came to sit next to us. We were just making polite coversation and introductions and all that waiting for the rest of the guests to come to the table. When everyone was there the Norwegian chap suddenly pulled a pair of his wife's panties from his pocket and put them on his head saying I'm Sv**** pleased to meet you all!!...Well as you can imagine this sure broke the ice! The table ended up being one of the best we have had. We were always the last to be kicked out of the dinning room! The chap who intorduces himself with panties on his head is now a very good friend of mine!......please tell me some of your table moments.!!!

Another other table moment we have had was ages ago on a ship called the Sundream we were doing the Med and Canaries Islands. We were sat on another table of 10 (an officers table!) he would join us there on formal nights and buy all the wine!...Well our officer was the ships/hotel director. Very nice bloke too. There was an odd chap on the table that would come out with stupid comments and quite honestly make a total fool of himself but he was entertainment!! He kept bragging that he was going to take 1000's of cigarettes and booze back to Southampton!!....saying all this in front of the officer!!!.....On the final day we arrived at Southampton and to our delight saw out table guest stopped by customs and the huge pile of cigarettes on the table....he was not joking...there were 1000's!!! Wonder how customs got to know about him???!!!

Hi again all I posted this last year and thought I would bring it back as I'm sure there must be some stories to tell since then??......anyone?

At the table next to us on a TA out of Barcelona to Miami,it was formal night and the very proper lady happened to lose one side of her top,did not notice and kept right on talking,broke our table up,when she realized what had happened,she put the one back in and kept on talking

Too funny!! This is a repeat but will tell it again, our favorite!! We had a table for 6 and the first night all 6 showed up, One couple was very elderly, gentleman was 90+ and wife in her late 80's. When we were all seated, the lady took an immediate dislike to Dickie,thought he was a senator from her state and started screaming at him, and he was seated next to her. She kept edging closer to him, and I recognized Alzhiemers, and when he looked at me for help, I wispered to him what was going on. He started moving glasses and cups and silverware to the other side of his plate!! The Maitre D came over and asked if we would like to move to another table, we said no, but the third couple did not return the following evening!! I sat next to her the rest of the week!! He husband was thrilled that we came back!! He was valiently trying to keep her at home and still travel as she loved it so!! Every evening the Maite D came to us as we entered the dining room, and let us know of all her escapades during the day!! Two stood out, One was the Captains cocktail party before dinner and the other was when her hubby went for a massage. He didn't return when she thought he should, so went liooking and found a female!! LOL It did not go well!!
