the CA legislation just passed a new policy allowing hybrid owners who get a permit from the Department of Motor Vehicles to drive in the Carpool lane, or I guess what you guys would call the HOV lane, even with a single passenger. Its to encourage and reward people who own hybrids

When I drove to work this morning here in Vegas it was not too high yet. The highest I saw was $2.79 for regular unleaded and one station as low as $2.69 But it could be higher by the time I drive home.

If anyone is interested I work for a Toyota dealership and we sell the Hybrid Prius and the new Hybrid Highlander which is a SUV. But the Highlander Hybrid is a bit pricey, you would have to do a lot of city driving to make up for what the cost is.

well, yesterday on Route 17 next to I-95 the price at the Wawa was 2.56....at 12:30 this afternoon on my way to town the price at the Wawa was 3.19 and on our way back home this afternoon at 4:30 it had jumped to 3.22....price gouging and it's just sickening. There are stories on the news tonight of stations about 20 miles from here charging 5.89 and they actually SOLD OUT.....

someone is getting very rich this weekend and it sure ain't me.....
