Joe used to get Gout all the time -- he now has to take a medication daily to keep the uric acid down.
Drink a lot of water.

Total Restoration was here this morning -- one entire wall in the dining room has to be replaced. A good section of the living room ceiling and part of one wall has to be replaced.
The roofers could find no damage.
I am just shaking from head to toe.

Got a call from Comcast at 5:30 today.
As of March 15th everything in our area goes digital. We have a choice to make -- keep what we have and watch only channels 1 - 22 -- no food channel, fox or anything like that.
Or reinstall all that HD stuff so we can watch the other channels -- but can not tape one show!! So with this choice we can not tape the shows we like to watch -- NCISLA, Food channel, NCIS, NCIS New York, etc. These shows in our area start at 9 and 10 PM and with all the medications Joe takes plus our getting up at 4:45 to be on the road to get to the gym for exercise for his heart we can not stay up late at night.
Even if we were to buy a new HD TV we still will not be able to record anything unless we BUY their special equipment -- and even then there are guarantees. And if we do buy their special equipment -- can no longer watch any of the VCR's or DVD's that we have bought over the years -- which is quite a few.
This is rediculous!!
