Momma Lizard is way ahead of me in transactions! LOL!

I became addicted to ebay also for a while - SCARY! I decided to check it out one day, and then thought, what should I look for? I had a very scary answer - all the stuff we had registered for when we got married that we still didn't have!

Oh my. The boxes of china and silver started coming in. I started a Nambe a collection. I started collecting restaurant china (because it was manufactured where I went to college). Then my sister got pregnant and I collected all the baby Tupperware. And during all this my DH just took it in stride.

I have slowed down. I now do a lot of our gift shopping on ebay, but I am MUCH more careful about shipping! No matter how good a price you get on something, you NEED to check how much shipping will be. It could mean that you should buy it locally at retail instead. Be wary of buying heavy things (or selling them!) for this reason.

Sometimes the only way to find something is on ebay. Like discontinued items or antiques. Sometimes something has shown up in a store in Idaho and you live in Kentucky. So if someone in Idaho recognizes that this is worth something, it will probably end up on ebay. Speaking from experience!!

My mom lost some pieces of her flatware, that was a wedding gift to her. We found the replacements on ebay, for MUCH less than they were listed at replacements.com

Well, enough stories. Yes it's easy to get addicted, but it's a great way to avoid malls!

I am better at giving bidding advice than selling advice, so ask if you want help!

I like ebay ... I haven't sold anything on there but I have bought many things. It's a fun place to search for things.

Me too!! Now I am checking out suits for my grandson. He is sailing with me in October!! He is 13 and is a 14 or 16, waiting for his measurements from Robin!! He is taller than me!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
