    Boarding attire

What does everyone wear on boarding day?
Anyone have something special they wear to get their vacation started off just right?

I usually go pretty casual - something like Kakhi shorts and a print shirt with sandals.

But, on rare occasions, I dress hubby and I in matching shirts and same colored shorts, and hope for the best on the boarding pictures.
Am I the only one who ever does this?

I just read this to DW and she thinks Matching shirts would be really kewl! Usually we just wear comfy casual clothes. You know ... regular 'old tourist' attire! Oh ... we skip the pictures now and head right to the buffet!

Usually either the Schooner or the Viking Crown.

    Comfort is the Key.

I do not wear my best, because they usually get some dirt on them from travelling. Try and keep cool. Sometimes you have to wait in line and not always air conditioned . I then change for dinner.

Mike we always use the pool area next to the bar........sometimes the Schooner and the Viking aren't always open until late afternoon....nothing like a meeting without a bar.......... Pool bar is always open.......

Good morning! Is it Sunday again?

I'm usually in what is called 'resort casual', that is, slacks with a nice shirt, and my Doc Martins.

For my cold weather embarkations, I may have on a turtleneck on under an open collar shirt, a nice coat, scarf, and leather gloves. Then it's off to wander and bump into old friends from previous sailings. That's the fun part.
