Thats precisely what I did with all the emails I've gotten, from even supposedly banks I don't do business with, requesting me to update my records, or my account will be cancellled. When I call then, as sure as the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, they inform me that they did not send the email. You have to make sure you don't click the link provided and give any info., and call your financial instituation to let them know.

    Thanks for the warning Sue!

I just delete them as I know they are fake, but they get my DH going and he runs to me (I'm his financial advisor) starting to freak out cause he hasnt gotten many of them yet.

He says "but they looked so real"! I tell him, just never respond to any of them and pass them on to me.

Patty, why don't you send me your point in a PM, after 3 replies to my in post, there obviously is one!! We can nip this in the bud!!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Sue, financial instituations are well aware of the "phishing" going on, and have alerted, and are working with law enforcement on the matter. I've made many calls to my bank and one has ask that I forward all such emails I receive, to them, and I did. Well, don't you know, those emails have stopped.

Very interesting. I am very cautious what mail I open and never give that kind of info on line.
