Thread: Ocho Rios -- Your Opinion

We have been there 4 times, the first time did the taxi tour and went tot he falls and thru, what the driver called their rain forest, but all we saw were shacks and poverty, very sad. When we stopped att he place for shopping and decided to walk back to the ship, we stopped by a few men who tried to sell us drugs. then sawthe guards patting down only the young girls, so the last 2 times we didn't even get off of the ship. We also had bought the blue mountain coffee, paid dearly for it, and it tasted like a burlap sack, terrible.

Hate it when something like that happens!

COFFEE! We went to the nicest place, "Rum, Roasts, and Royals" in Island Village (so close ... just as you leave the cruise ship pier).

Great place to go! Everyone was well informed on coffee and had "tester things" to help with the selection. No one was the least bit PUSHY!

Everyone we gave the 100% Blue Mountain Coffee beans ... raved about how good the coffee was!
