Odyssey to Asia

We're tentatively booked on the Nautica (Osyssey to Asia) for 11/18/08 (32 days) with ports: Rome, Naples, Messina Italy; Cairo, Luxor Egypt; Salalah and Port Qaboos, Oman; Dubai UAE; Bombay, Cochin India; Yangoon Myanmar (Burma); Phukey Thailand and, finally, Singapore.
We've never been onboard ship for so long but the ports sounded so interesting, we signed up (tentatively).
Has anyone visited any of the ports in Oman, India, Burma, Thailand? We've already been to Egypt, Italy but don't mind visiting again.
We've never sailed with Oceania - but enjoyed the line when it was Renaissance.
Also, has anyone taken this particular trip with oceania?
Thanks for any or all info!
SAF

I can't tell you much about the ports (take a look at tripadvisor.com for some great info). But We also sailed on the old Renaissance line. The Oceania people have fitted the ship beautifully, but more importantly, the staff is much more attentive and the food is excellent (in fact, quite close to the quality you get on Crystal, but Oceania's main dining room is less able to handle special orders and you won't see as many lobster tails or highest end cuts of beef there). We love the casual dress code and the open seating. You needn't take a sports jacket unless you like. The two specialty restaurants are really first rate; outstanding Italian food and excellent beef.
We did the Valparaiso to Buenos Aires in Feb and the Black Sea the summer before. We are scheduled for the 2/08 Sydney to Bangkok (21 days) and know that 3 weeks will not be too much since we liked the 16 day S America trip.
I have priced the 32 day trip but my wife is balking at the length (I could stay on board forever) and the fact that it conflicts with Thanksgiving. But I am pressing for it.
The ship is intimate yet there is plenty to do. The shows and entertainment will not match those of the very large ships, but they have 3 great bars. I can't think of a better itinerary (maybe someone should have thought a bit about Myanmar though). My wife and I have been on 16 cruises on assorted lines but we think Oceania gives great value and you don't feel like you are sailing on a small city.
