Oceania Marina Debuts Tomorrow: Winter 2011 Guide Available

Oceania's newest, most luxurious ship to date, debuts tomorrow in its float out ceremony at Fincantieri's Sestri shipyard in Genoa.

The 65,000-ton, 1,252-passenger Marina is Oceania's first purpose-built ship for the line, which launched with three nearly identical ships (Insignia, Nautica and Regatta) that had been previously designed and built for the now-defunct Renaissance Cruises.

Not due to launch until January 2011, you can get a sneak peek at the ship and its cuisine, destinations, onboard service and cabins in the new Oceania Marina 2011 Winter Guide

I'll bet she is a beauty!

I keep waiting to win the lottery so I can try the more upscale cruise lines, but luck has not been on my side...yet!

I see the Marina and the next Oceania ship, the Rivera, scheduled for delivery in 2012 to be enormous steps in the young cruise line's life cycle.

The Marina is the first ship not sourced from a pervious line or owner to come under the helm of Oceania Cruises, and now to add the Rivera in one fell swoop at the float out ceremony for the Marina....it would appears the future looks good for Oceania.
